General Purpose Extensometer, Model 3542
For tensile, compression and cyclic testing. Gage lengths from 10 to 50 mm and 0.5 to 2 inches. Travel ranges from 5 to 100 percent strain.

Miniature Extensometer, Model 3442
Lightweight, for small samples in tensile, compression and cyclic testing. Gage lengths from 6 to 10 mm and 0.25 to 0.5 inches. Travel ranges from 5 to 100% strain.


Single or Dual Range, Long Gage Length, 3543
NEW: Available in 50 mm and 2 inch gage length and larger. Dual range version with 2 outputs for accurate low travel, yet captures the full stress-strain curve. Single range available travel ranges from 25 to 100 mm (1 to 4 inches).

High Elongation, Model 3800
For rubber and plastics testing. Gage lengths of 25 or 50 mm and 1or 2 inches. Travel ranges from 125 to 500 mm and 5 to 20 inches

High Temperature Extensometers

For Use to 1200 C, Model 3448
Self supporting model, for use in furnaces and with induction heating. Gage lengths from 10 to 50 mm and 0.5 to 2 inches. Travel ranges from 5 to 50 percent strain.


For Use to 1200 C or 1600 C, Model 3548
Externally supported model, for use in furnaces or with induction heating. Gage lengths from 10 to 50 mm and 0.5 to 2 inches. Travel ranges from 5 to 50 percent strain.

Diametral or Transverse, Model 3580
Measures change in diameter or width at temperatures to 1000 C
 



To 540 C, Uncooled, Model 3555
For use in chambers where no cooling is possible. Gage lengths from 10 to 50 mm and 0.5 to 2 inches. Travel ranges from 5 to 20 percent strain.

Extensometers


Transverse (Diametral), Model 3575
For use on round or flat samples. Adjustable from 0-25 mm or 0-1 inch width Travel ranges from 0.5 to 2.5 mm and 0.02 to 0.1 inches. May be used simultaneously with axial extensometers like the model 3542.



Sheet Metal r-Value, Model 3575AVG
Transverse strain measurement for r-value testing. Used with 3542. Averages transverse strain measured at 2 points.

Single unit measures longitudinal and transverse strain. Also available as averaging axial unit alone.


Axial/Torsional Extensometer, Model 3550
Self supporting version for moderate temperatures. Also high temperature version for use with furnaces, to 1200 C.

For fracture mechanics testing.
Compressed gage lengths from 3 to 20 mm and 0.2 to 0.5 inches. Travel ranges from 1 to 12 mm and 0.1 to 0.5 inches.

Normally used for concrete and rock compression tests. Diameters to 200 mm and 8 inches. Travel ranges from 6 to 12 mm and 0.25 to 0.5 inches.
